Freedom. Your freedom, and mine. Freedom to meet on an equal playing field. Freedom to risk asking for what you really want, and to risk getting it. Freedom is what I’m here to explore with you. Freedom from judgement. Freedom to connect, freedom to open up, freedom to talk about the things you can’t talk to those closest to you about. Freedom to express your truest desires. Freedom to be yourself.
Moments. There’s an entire universe contained in each infinitesimal moment. A galaxy as fingertips gracefully trace along smooth skin. A solar system as we dab the beads of sweat from each other’s foreheads, with a twinkle in our eyes. Together, we are unencumbered by the past, and unrestricted by the future. We are beholden to nobody’s agenda except our own, masters of our own destiny. Here and now, in the moment, celebrating what it means to be alive.
Adventure. New experiences. As Aphra Behn said so well, “Where there is no novelty, there can be no curiosity.” I thrive on being in motion, creating memories and experiences, ideally with a similarly insatiable companion by my side. I’ve trekked the mountains of Nepal, skydived over the peaks of New Zealand, and crossed Australia’s Snowy Mountains on horseback. I have my advanced SCUBA certification, with over 50 dives and counting. I’ve sung karaoke with government officials on private islands. I’ve been a shibari (rope bondage) model at some of Berlin’s most famous sex parties. I can wear heels, hiking boots, slippers, or nothing at all.
Aphra Behn also said, “Variety is the soul of pleasure.” Soul and pleasure, don’t we all need more of that? We can sip champagne from your private booth, rub elbows glamorously at the penthouse afterparty, or enjoy the guilty pleasures of lounging in bed all morning without a care in the world. Freedom, moments, and adventure. Now doesn’t that sound delightful?
